Love your website! I would be interested in learning about all
aspects of water purification if
the power is off for an extended
period of time.
Thank you, Carol

I'd like to see an article on how to get started. Everytime I start to do this it seems overwhelming and I don't quite get it together. Any suggestions?

I'd like to see more on how to prioritize which preparedness supplies to focus on when you've got limited storage space and/or funds for purchasing. Once you have a solid 72 hour kit, what's next?
That would be really valuable information for college students and recent grads who don't yet have the money to lay in a several month supply of anything and have, at best, a closet to devote to supplies within a tiny shared living space.

Cool! A blog on Emergency Preparedness!

This is a great idea – so many of us are preparing for tough times. We are all looking for tips and tricks. I am trying my hand at canning this year – and growing a big Square Foot Garden. I use Emergency Essentials to supplement my other preparations. Remember – when an emergency happens, it is too late to prepare.

Thanks for a great place to find info…I would love to have a discussion about how to teach others and get them excited about getting prepared. I teach a monthly class and it's hard to teach a class when I don't know how many will be there and how to make it excited for people who already know a lot but not overwhelming for those who are just starting. I've tried a few approaches, but it's hard to find one for the wide range of people in the class.

I would like to see more information on emergency preparation for health: first aid, items to keep on hand (more than just band-aids), what happens if you can't get to a doctor or hospital, home remedies, etc. Especially with hurricane and tornado season, do we know basic first aid for cuts, head wounds, etc until paramedics can reach you (if they can at all).

I would like to learn more about using beans. Thanks ( smiley face).

I'd love for you to help families that are just started out and watching their dollars impacted by the coming inflation or deflation (We'll see, eh?), be instructed as to how best to prepare with the funds they have. What are the absolute must haves and what can they do without.

I would love to have some unique recipes that use food storage
