A recent customer had this to say about our Provident Pantry® Peanut Butter Powder:

"My husband and I go through peanut butter like water, so when I saw this (Dehydrated Peanut Butter Powder) I got it. WOW! Deep roasted peanutty taste. I add a drop of olive oil and a dribble of Agave nectar (a natural sweetener similar to honey) and a shot of sea salt. WOW! Better than any store brand! Try it with celery!"

WOW! Some negative comments about their peanut butter powder and the company still prints them! That to me deserves a HUGE Kudos! That tells me of an honest customer oriented supplier that will stand by their customer. I won’t get the peanut butter… Lol but l will definitely try their other products. Thanks everyone for your reviews on this product.

The first time I mixed the powdered peanut butter according to the directions it was runny and not so good but I kept gradually adding the peanut butter powder until I got the consistancy I wanted and it was fine.

I just made my first "batch" of peanut butter using the 2 Tablespoons powder to 2 Teaspoons water- Yuk – this is bitter!!! So, I added some honey, a little oil, and I still had to add some brown sugar to it to get it down. I then added some chopped peanuts to make it crunchy. This is horrible as peanut butter. I will try some of the baking ideas to see if I can use it – otherwise I have wasted my money on this! I thought reconstituting the p.b. would be a nice healthy p.b. – low in fat and no sugar. NO WAY – I had to add the sugar and oil and it still isn't good enough to eat as a sandwich. Anyone else had this experience?

like Red said, you might save money buying honey instead, but agave is good for people with diabetes and also people that want to stay away from animal products.

agave has a low glycemic index, thats why some believe its good for diabetics.

i have blogged about this peanut butter powder A LOT!! lol i really love it!

You can now get Agave Nectar in Walmart too

Agave nectar is composed primarily of fructose, just like honey. You would save money if you just bought honey from a grocery store rather than agave nectar from a specialty health food store with inflated prices.

I haven't heard of Agave nectar before. Where do you get it?
