dry pinquito beans-small pink beans that hold their shape during cooking- (or substitute Emergency Essentials Pinto Beans), cooked according to package instructions.
strips Yoders' Canned Bacon, diced and cooked crisp

diced, smoked cooked ham or Emergency Essentials FD Ham

Emergency Essentials Minced Garlic

diced Tomatoes (or reconstituted Emergency Essentials FD Tomatoes plus 1/4 cup reconstituted Emergency Essentials Tomato Powder
1/4 C

Dry Mustard
1 tsp
Emergency Essentials Chili Powder
1 tsp
Emergency Essentials White Sugar, 1/2 C Water
(optional) 1/2 tsp Chipotle Powder (dried smoked jalapeno)


Drain cooked beans, reserving 1 cup of liquid. Return beans with cup of liquid to pot, add sauce, and simmer 30 minutes before serving.
