I definetly like your site. It takes trial and error to figure out what actually works in a situation. I would like some real tips and things to try in all areas of survival.

Love the idea for the site. Would like more info on emergency food itms that can be stored in the car for months, i.e. ability to withstand extreme storage temperature ranges.

what about storing if you are a vegan? That's been a real struggle! And keeping food in compact space (such as no food pantry, no basement, etc – hot and humid keeps tings from being kept outside in a garage). Would love ideas on that one!

I'd like to learn more about using all natural products in every aspect of my daily life. I prefer homemade facial products and would like more about cleaning products for my house. We recently began using grain mill for food products and planteda garden this year.

I would like to see information on how to set up and maintain a water barrel to catch rainwater, without having mosquitoes or algae get into it. We are gardening at a site that has no running water, and annual rainfall of 20 inches.

I would love to see a discussion on the different types of wheat and the pros and cons of each, as well as what they are best used for.
Heather
Love the website! I would like to learn more about water purification and storage, and ways to use food storage in everyday meals.

I love the new site Thank you for all you do for all of us!

I would be interested in a discussion of mobile emergency preparedness. DH and I are full-time RVers, so space and weight are limiting factors. We're doing our best, but would love to hear suggestions from others.

I nver considered "5 minute" evacuation notice. Thanks for update.
Like the site. Nice to have all together.

Great site! Looking to learn more about gardening and canning tips. Also about how to use more grains in everyday foods.

I was considering buying the canned seeds but held off because I wasn't sure I'd use even half of the different varieties. I live in Northern CA (way north and near the ocean) where we get mild weather and intermittent fog throughout the summer. Can you tell me if these seeds would produce in the milder climates? I too would be interested in water purification, and in converting sea water to drinking water. Also, how to keep contents of tins fresh once opened.(I know you offer one solution, but I would like to know other methods too)

I would like to see information about alternate ways of refrigeration or just keeping certain meds and foodstuffs cool even during a hot summer without electricity.
Maybe propane, root cellar, solar power, and flowing water options discussed in detail.

I like this new format. Helps us feel more connected you as a community of like minded people trying to Be Prepared. Are you going to feature a weekly product with a couple of recipes and ways to use it?

Since Hurricane season is upon us emergency preparedness is essential -
any new tips would be appreciated.
Ronald A. Guillemette
Given hurricane season, it would be interesting to see a post on a prioritized shopping list of your products to, say, a new college graduate moving to a new Florida resident.

I have the basic stuff (food, water, etc) for 72 hours. Would like to know what are the next steps? Money is tight.

Really like your new sight. We are in a group that are trying a new recipie every month using our year supply. It's been fun. Try it.

I'm interested in learning to cook from scratch again, using the basics: raw dried grains, flours, spices, baking powders, fresh vegetables, etc., as an alternative to pre-packaged meals.

I would like some more ways to use wheat. Right now, I just know how to make bread with it.
Randee
I would love to see more recipes using freeze dried items. Also more on water purification and storage. Would like to see more about cooking alternative ways, like with a dutch oven, etc.
Thank you.

I'd like to see some articles on "long term" food storage. (i.e. What are the ideal conditions for long term food stoage, What food does Emergency Essentials sell that will store long term. Possibly how to package/repackage store bought food for long term storage.) I've heard that under ideal conditions, some of the Mountain House #10 cans of food can store up to 50 years.
Bob B.
I would like to see a review of food storage basics for beginners. How to best get started and how to progress.
Rebecca
One thing I would like to see more of, is various ways to "go off the grid". Examples: ways to make solar, wind, and water power, also, soap making, herbal information. Or links to good sites with that stuff.
Misty
Id love to see ideas on storing and using food storage in regular life. We struggle with rotating the foods and finding a place for them. I love the new site.
Beverly
What a great idea! I would enjoy a discussion about wild foods and how to recognize and prepare them.

Warnings and helpful hints on safety for single women. What sort of items should I have with me and what items do you carry?

Hello,
I am grateful for this site you have set up here. I am a grandma, helping to raise 4 grandkids. Survival skills on the order we are now anticipating is a new thing to me. I appreciate being able to get good tips from those more savvy than I. Thank you.

Hi,
I'm interested in knowing how to tell if water we have stored (with your storage kits), is actually good to drink in an emergency and how long the water can be stored. I'm also interested in how to find "like-minded" people in our area.
Thanks! Looking forward to visiting the blog often.

I would like to see more information on backup power and heat sources.

I would like to know how you use the veg. soup mix, the pasta in it cooks into mush before the other vegs. are tender? Can you store cornmeal? If so, where can you obtain it? SD

I am really glad to see the blog. I think it will be very useful. I would really like to see a discussion on how to get started with preparedness and food storage.

Glad to see the addition of the blog, am looking forward to the shared information.
Thanks.

I would like to go over hunting for food after your 72 hour kit runs out. If we completely neglect the fact that most people have family within a days drive, we maybe forced in to the wilderness and have to survive like primitive beasts. We will need the skills to survive off of the land.
Emily
This is a great idea! I am interested in products such as powdered eggs and powdered butter and knowing how to use them in cooking (can they be used the same way as regular eggs, regular butter, or could there be a tutorial on your blog for how to use them.
