This is really a great service to everyone to learn about food storage and just being prepared for any emergency. I would like information on how to store liquid items. I would also like to know how to can meat.

As a complete neophyte, I would really LOVE to see something like "A Baby-stepper's Guide to Food Storage for the Timid and Totally Clueless" — 'cause yeah, I would totally fit the bill!

I would like to see how your products can be added to basic emergency type recipies to make them more interesting. Also, preserving home grown foods.

I would like to see a discussion of in depth emergency medical preparedness. This should include both premade kits and a DIY kit.

I would like to know how to have enough water to rehydrate all the dehydrated foods you sell. If there was a big emergency where water was cut off, how would you rehydrate a year's worth of dehydrated food?
Wendy
I would like to hear about how emergency preparedness has helped people who use this and how the people who use emergency preparedness eat what has been stored before it goes bad.
Rachel
I would like to see the topic of cooking and recipe making with your food storage. We buy all these different kinds of food for food storage, but knowing how to prepare and make it so that it's edible is really important to me. I would love to hear other's experiences with cooking food storage recipes and what they like and don't like. I have a lot of great food, but would want to know that it's edible and makeable when the time comes. Thanks for such an amazing and helpful site!

When I got your email saying you had a new blog, I got pretty excited. I made a link to it from my blog!

I would like to discuss how we can best be prepared with small children. Thanks.

I would like to see more info on how to prepare for a pandemic, and how to hunker down for the possible 3 month quarantine time. What essentials are needed to keep the germs out, and keep those inside safe.

Glad to find your blog! I'd like to see storage ideas and organization plans for homes without basements or a dedicated room in the house. We only have a garage and whatever space we can carve out of our living space which means room temperature storage at best unless you have other ideas?
Thanks!
April C.

I know a lot of new people who are becoming interested in preparedness. How can someone start to prepare on a budget?
BTW- No other insurance makes me feel more secure than food insurance. Also food insurance is the only FUN insurance I know of ;>)

The preparedness topic that interests me is shelf life and proper storage of food.

This is a great idea!
How about some ideas on product conversions; such as using dried milk to make yogurt, condensed milk, etc.
A recipe section would be great as well.

We live in Missouri where we get ice storms, and often are without power for long periods of time. I want to purchase a generator. I would love to get information on generators. Which type is best, how many BTUs are necessary, etc. Maybe even the best place to purchase one. Also, you could discuss how to use one. Thank you, Michele

Water is becoming an issue..I would love more information/products about recovering roof top water for garden irrigation. Also, how do you prepare dried foods if water is not available to rehydrate?
Ric
I'd like to hear from those who have used products when traveling internationally.

As at least one other person mentioned, I would love to see an article about preparing for people with serious medical conditions. I am diabetic, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol (all well-controlled by medications), and I am a stage IV metastatic breast cancer patient. Sometimes I wonder if there's even any point in preparing, other than to make sure my husband and 19-year-old daughter have provisions. Any suggestion on natural remedies might be helpful.
Thank you for the new blog, and I love your catalog & site!

Great idea!!! I would like to see information about water storage. We had a swimming pool at one time that I called my year supply of water, but no more after the hurricanes down south.

Currently we are canning pork and chicken; grinding our wheat (just opened a white bucket of wheat over 30 years old and it is beautiful; weevil-free.); gardening; collecting water in barrels; prepared our 72 hour kit.
Teaching others to do the same.
Love your new site. Plan to visit often.

I would like to see ideas on how to help ward members feel less intimidated about home storage and emergency preparedness… perhaps small simple steps people can take to be more prepared (that won't seem too overwhelming to actually accomplish).
Bruce Conklin
I would appreciate seeing some discussion of where to physically store storage items. I live in a state where there are no basements but we still have plenty of heat so the garage is not an acceptable place for stored foods. My girls are already using buckets of wheat the frames of their beds so I would like some more ideas.
