Like the blog. Living in the Northeast where we have cold winters, snow, and ice storms, need advice on water storage and
purification. Also, need some advice on food storage rotation,
and dehydration.

Great blog! I would really like to know about water purification and storage, as well as emergency preparedness for those living in the city (and therefore can't raise their own animals or grow much if any vegetables). Thanks!

I have young children, so I would love to learn more about things that are good to pack in 72 hour kits, car kits, etc. that they would actually eat! =)

I would like to read about how to survive a month without running water or the normal everyday items if they become contaminated.

How exciting that you have a blog! I would like to see information on water storage for those of us who don't live near a water source.

My comment didn't show :(
I'd like to discuss if I was forced to evacuate my home—but—not have to go to a shelter, perhaps by going camping instead.
It might also be helpful to discuss possible Marshal Law. With the economy continuing to decline, there could be civil disorder and the government could be forced to clamp down on folks to restore order (I guess a pandemic could have the same response). So, info on Marshal Law could be useful.

I would love to have a discussion about recipes using the basic home food storage supplies. And by recipes I don't mean ones that use ingredients other than what is included in home storage. Too many "home storage recipes" only use one or two home storage ingredients. What are the recipes for when emergencies strike and you only have the supplies on hand. This is from a family that does not do any make-it-from-scratch cooking so easy to follow recipes without too much "add to taste" crap, give me actual recipes that tell me how much to add.

I would like to know what others are doing to prepare a place of refuge, either in the city or out in the country somewhere.

Great site. More like minded people need to get involved and share their ideas and words of wisdom. Check out the new book by William Forstchen called one second after for new insight on preparedness. It takes it to a whole new level.Guaranteed to be one that you can't put down.

I'd like to know your thoughts and suggestions on "Remote Caches." That is, a place away from home, secluded, and private where you dig a hole and bury an emergency cache of supplies… food, water, maybe some gas, survival gear… that could be visited if you can't get home, or it could be a stop on the way to a safe place. Of course, this would be in addition to home preparedness, and probably not as well stocked.

I'm looking forward to getting more information on preparedness ideas and how to tips using products sold at Emergency Essentials!
