The Holidays can be a wonderful time of year, but too often we see things go awry as a result of accidental fires and other emergency situations.
According to the National Fire Protection Association, an estimated 250 reported home fires were caused by natural and artificial Christmas trees. Holiday lights and other decorative lighting were involved in an average of 170 home fires each year.
