The instructions that came with my blankets said delicate wash or dry clean. Dry clean an emergency blanket? Not for me. I tried washing one just to see how it would turn out. It actually came out very nice and the smell was gone but, well, talk about lint! I showed my son the softball sized wad and he said, Hey, don't throw that out that'll be great for fire starting!

Bought 2 of these with the intention of putting one in each of my cars but when I got them they seemed thinner then my other wool blanket. Tried them out in the house and it kept me nice and warm and wasn't scratchy, when I went outside with it wrapped around me though the wind blew right thru it. So opted to keep these in the house and put the wool blankets I already had for the house in the car since they were heavier.
All in all worth the money.

Nice, warm, & not scratchy. It's wool so of course its dry clean only. No problem - had mine done for $5.

Great for my emergency kit.

plenty warm & not too rough
Pros - it's warm, big enough for me to wrap up in comfortably (6' -1" & 175#'s) or to lay over our laps, legs & feet while sitting on the sofa. Benefits of wool & polyester combined in one - plenty of insulating properties & decent moisture wicking properties as well.
Cons - dry clean only. It came with a "new" smell
Bottom line: worth the price even if it wasn't on sale! I'll bring to the cleaners next time I'm there and then we'll enjoy while keeping the kids with food & drink away from it.

Dry Clean Only
The blankets look and feel alright. Made in India. Dry Clean Only. Prefer to wash the new smell out - but will refrain.

Wool blanket is fantastic. I use it to sleep in my car when im lazy during breaks at school. very big and warm. wraps around quite nicely. I thought it be very itchy since its wool but its very comfortable, If you have a bob. than this may be too big but entirely better than solar blankets they make way too much noise. Always have the wool blanket around just in case. Excellent purchase
