Ingredients: Vital Wheat Gluten.
Allergens: Processed in a plant that handles milk, wheat, egg, soybean, peanut, and tree nut products.
Directions: Add approx. 1 tsp of Provident Pantry Vital Wheat Gluten per cup of whole grain flour or 1/3 to 1/2 cup per 10-12 cups of whole grain flour. Mix or sift it well with the flour. The strength of the gluten in the flour will determine how much Vital Wheat Gluten needed. When making bread with bran, raisins, flax or sesame seeds, etc., you will need to increase the amount of Vital Wheat Gluten used. If there are too many large air bubbles formed then use less of the Vital Wheat Gluten. For Use in auto-bakery recipes: Add about 1-2 Tbsp of Vital Wheat Gluten for a 3 1/4 to 4 1/4 cup whole wheat bread recipe, according to desired performance.
