All the MRE's that I've tried have been good quality, with a taste like good canned food. This one, for example, tastes like Dinty Moore stew. Surprisingly, though, the MRE has a much greater ratio of meat to vegetables than you'd typically see in a can of Dinty Moore. If I was doing more than just tasting, I think I'd extend it with some peas, carrots, and potatoes.
I'd buy this again.

Thanks E.E. Satisfied customer here!
Thanks Emergency Essentials for doing me right on my initial purchase with your store. Not to sound like "that guy" here, but I kinda half-way expected to get a shipment of older MREs that had been in stock for a while. Not the case at all. I received my order (quicker than from other stores I might add) with exceptional dates on them. This was my first real experience with E.E. and I am very satisfied with the purchase. Thanks guys. I'll be back.

Better than most
I just received my first order of assorted MRE's to try. I tried this one first. I have many cans of beef stew in my pantry and this MRE is just as good as Dinty Moore.

MRE is the acronym for Meals-Ready-to-Eat. These pouch meals were originally designed for our soldiers in the U.S. Military. These dishes are precooked and can be eaten cold or heated. Great attention goes into developing the recipes for MRE’s.
