This is some great stuff. If you just need an easy side, or are looking for a great long term food, this is a must have in your inventory. I go through about 1 #10 can a month for side dishes while having about 12+ cans in reserve for long term food storage. Rotate your stock with side dishes you already eat and keep things fresh. If you will not eat it in a non emergency
situation, what makes you think you will like eating it during an emergency? Try these foods out before you rely on them for a devastating situation. You will find this beef stroganoff is an amazing dish!

My husband, who is a somewhat selective eater, sampled this at a recent conference. His immediate response was "we should be eating this on a regular basis....not saving it." So glad that he sampled this and gave it high marks!

This was the first time I have tried Mountain House and I was worried about buying something that my family would refuse to eat. Boy was I wrong! This stuff is really good! I added boiling water, let it set about 15 minutes and it was just right. I was amazed at how good it tasted. Try it and you'll love it!

However, when protected from moisture, product has been found acceptable up to 1 week after opening. Please note: #10 cans are sold by weight, not volume. Some settling may have occurred due to shipping, handling or variations in the product density.
For best flavor and nutrition, keep cans constantly stored at 70° or lower. Once opened, keep in air tight containers in dark cool places. To learn more about how long you can expect food to store see our Shelf Life Article.
