Ham and Bean Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

3 C
Beans (2 Pinto, 1 Small White)
1 C
Freeze Dried Ham
1/2 C
Freeze Dried Asparagus
2
Garlic Cloves (Diced or Minced)
3/4 C
Freeze Dried Onion
2 Tbsp
Chicken Broth
1 tsp
Italian Seasoning
1-2 tsp
Salt
Dash
Cumin
Dash
Pepper
Freeze Dried Monterey Jack

PREPARATION

1. Cover beans in water and let soak overnight. Drain and rinse.

2. Put beans in large pot with water (as least 1" above beans). Add ham, asparagus, garlic, onion, broth, Italian seasonings, salt, cumin, and pepper. Bring to boil.

3. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours (Allow to simmer longer if you like soup to be creamier).

4. Take a taste and see if you need add more seasoning. Enjoy.
