Chunky Potato and Ham Soup Recipe

Freeze Dried Potato Dices

1/4 tsp
1/4 C
Chopped Freeze Dried Onion
3 Tbsp
Butter or Clarified Butter
3 Tbsp
Ground Black Pepper
3 C
Dehydrated Fat-Free Milk (1/3 Cup + 2 1/2 Tbsp Powder + 3 Cup Water)
1 C
Freeze Dried Cheddar Cheese
1 C
Cubed Freeze Dried Ham


1. Reconstitute the potatoes, ham and onions. Drain excess water.

2. Add butter in medium saucepan and over medium heat and cook onion until tender.

3. Add flour to butter and onion mixture; stir until smooth.

4. Season with pepper; Cook and stir for 1 minute.

5. Gradually add potatoes, water and milk.

6. Stir well; Add cheese and ham.

7. Simmer potato, ham soup over low heat, stirring frequently for about 20 minutes.

8. Serve hot with bread.
