Better than I thought!
I first did not purchase these because I would have preferred no chocolate due to a bit of an intolerance to it. Then, I decided on the next order to add it with the rest of the dessert type things.
WOW! It is a perfect blend of chocolate and banana nut and is really good. It is more moist than the usual "cake" type MREs but that is not a bad thing. I will be buying more with my next order.

MRE is the acronym for Meals-Ready-to-Eat. These pouch meals were originally designed for our soldiers in the U.S. Military. These dishes are precooked and can be eaten cold or heated. Great attention goes into developing the recipes for MRE’s.
