Cheesy Broccoli Carrot Bake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 C
Freeze Dried Celery
1 C
Dehydrated Carrots
1 C
Dehydrated Chopped Onion
1 1/2 C
Freeze Dried Cheddar Cheese
2 C
Freeze Dried Broccoli
1/4 C
Chicken Broth (Reconstituted)
4 tsp
Butter, Divided or Clarified Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste

PREPARATION

1. Reconstitute carrots, celery, onions and cheese; Drain excess water.

2. In a large skillet, combine carrots, celery and onions with 3 teaspoons of butter and saute until tender. Transfer to greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

3. Top with 3/4 cup cheese. In same skillet, saute broccoli in remaining butter for 1 minute. Place over cheese. Pour broth over all.

4. Cover and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.

Optional: Top with crumbled up crackers for extra flavor and texture.
