Unstuffed Peppers Recipe


1/2 Cup
Emergency Essentials White Rice, reconstituted
1/4 Cup
Ground Beef, reconstituted
1/4 Cup
Emergency Essentials Green Bell Pepper Dices, reconstituted
1/4 Cup
Emergency Essentials Red Bell Pepper Dices, reconstituted
1/4 Cup
Tomato Sauce Leather, tightly packed (see recipe)
Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Cup
Sprinkle of Emergency Essentials Garlic Pepper, to taste
Sprinkle of Emergency Essentials Iodized Salt, to taste


  1. Reconstitute first four ingredients according to package directions; drain.
  2. Combine all ingredients except for the cheese in a medium-sized pot. Cook on the stove over medium heat, stirring together. When the tomato sauce leather has rehydrated and the mixture begins to bubble a bit, remove from heat and cover with a lid for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese just before serving
