Hearty Italian Soup with Tomatoes and Sausage Recipe


2 C.
Provident Pantry Tomato Powder
3 1/3 C.
Provident Pantry Freeze Dried Tomatoes
1 C.
Reconstituted Provident Pantry Pork Sausage Crumbles
1/2 C.
Provident Pantry Carrots, reconstituted
1/2 C.
Provident Pantry Chopped Onions
1/2 C.
Zucchini, reconstituted
1/8 C.
Provident Pantry Sugar
1 C.
Provident Pantry Freeze Dried Mozzarella Cheese plus
2 C.
Water (add to reac our desired consistency)
1 Tbsp
Italian Seasoning
To Taste
Salt and Pepper
To Taste
Garlic Salt


  1. Boil enough water to reconstitute tomato powder and the freeze dried tomatoes. Once water is boiling, add the Tomato Powder and Tomatoes. Stir until the powder has turned to a sauce and let sit.
  2. In a separate pan, boil water. Add zucchini and sausage crumbles. Let sit for 5 minutes to reconstitute.
  3. Reconstitute carrots
  4. Add zucchini, sausage crumbles, and carrots to soup
  5. Mix in Italian seasoning, garlic salt, salt, and pepper
  6. Add ¼ cup of cheese
  7. Serve with extra cheese sprinkled on top
