Not just for survival or adventuring
These are good enough to keep around the house for snacks with a cup of coffee. Excellent product. All MRE baked goods have an odd texture so don't expect Hostess, but the flavor is great. I use to convert MRE skeptics. Our favorite of all the MRE cake offerings.

This was great. I was very happy with it. You can even spread some MRE Condiment Chocolate Peanut Butter on it and it will be like a cake with icing. Will order again.

All the cakes are good, I've tried them all. The only MRE's I've been able to keep down. Tasty, but a little dry so I use some of the strawberry jelly stirred in to moisten it up a little.

As expected, totally delicious.
These slices of cake are very tasty. They are very flaky, and so would go quite well on vanilla ice cream, but it goes just as well with my soy chai latte in the morning. Today I gave a bite to a friend, and the first thing she said was, "The proportion of spices is just right in these- not too much, not too little. Wow!" Yup. Thank you.

After seeing the good reviews, I decided to purchase some of these for our longer term storage. I just received them and opened 1 package to try it out. AMAZING! I was seriously blown away by how delicious this was!! I would eat this EVERY DAY. It reminds me of a pumpkin muffin. It's not dry at all. I had to put the others away for fear I'd eat them instead of storing them! Highly recommended!

This one is a no brainer! I ordered 10 each of vanilla, marble, spice and lemon poppy seed. And, I'll be ordering more immediately! They were all GREAT! This will be a a top comfort food for our storage!

Even my kids love these
I wanted to order some MRE's to put in an emergency evacuation pack, as recommended by FEMA. I decided to order extras to get the kids to try them. Even my picky 10yr old loved these! They taste just like a spice/pumpkin muffin from the store! Very good quality

MRE is the acronym for Meals-Ready-to-Eat. These pouch meals were originally designed for our soldiers in the U.S. Military. These dishes are precooked and can be eaten cold or heated. Great attention goes into developing the recipes for MRE’s.
