These are good!

I bought these 2 years ago with the plan that they would be used when when we ran out of fresh/canned berries from our bushes.

I opened my can today and all I can say is wow! These are really good. If I had known how good they were, I would not have waited 2 years to open the can. I am buying more!

Takes some doctoring up , but it makes a good sauce for deserts

I have made a tasty sauce for pancakes, cheesecake, ect. by adding [sweetener], some fresh lemon juice to taste, and a few grains of salt. to the rehydrating water. I had found from an old receipe that lemon juce enhances the blueberry's flavor, but add a little at a time with the [sweetener]. It takes me quite a few back and forth additions of the [sweetener], lemon, juice, and a few grains of salt to get it right.
Then, I use some non GMO cornstarch for thickening (I an gluten intolerent so I found putting corn starch in cold water for the thickening works), then draining the blueberry water off into a small sauce pan, and adding the disolved cornstarch to the blueberry water and bringing it to a slow boil, stiring constantly til it thickens; works for me.

Sorry about not having exact measurments, but I usually whip this up on the spur of the moment.
But the grand kids, husband and I love it.

Excellent Blueberries!

Really delicious right from the can and they rehydrate very well too. I drink the blueberry water after rehydrating the berries... it's too weak to be called juice, but why waste it? In desperate times you'd be glad to have that extra drink of blue water. The blueberries plump up really nice... just like a previous reviewer said -about like Coco Puffs. They're very tasty and not too sweet. Gotta keep these in stock too.

We were looking for lighter weight options for nutritious food to take when we hike the PCT from Mexico to Canada. We ordered these Blueberries and put some in our Oatmeal and they were incredibly fresh and delicious tasting. We will be buying more.

Great snack great in foods

Great snack right out of the can or put them in cereals, muffins or pancakes. Works best if the water for reconstituting is used in the recipe Let soak in the milk before adding cereal.
