These Sausage crumbles are very tasty...I use them with a white sauce, and then some dehydrated cheddar cheese, dehydrated mushrooms and peas....and cook until the sauce thickens and pour over toast....everyone I have made this for just loves it...

The sausage crumbles are truly very good. I tried them on their own and on pizza. Honestly you would not know it is freeze dried. It's like a cross between breakfast sausage that is slightly spicy and Italian sausage that is mild. It could be used in breakfast foods as well as Italian type dishes.

These crumbles were great - my husband had NO idea they were from our food storage. Straight out of the can they add a delicious crunch to salads, and reconstituted they have a very wholesome, genuine sausage flavor and mouth feel. We use them in salads and eggs - I'm looking forward to the point where my hubby's favorite breakfast is 100% food storage ﾖ sausage, eggs, cheese, and biscuits =)
