Easy

As to ways to use, they are excellent for making potato salad.

No Idea

I have no idea how to use these potatos except in soups. All the other ways I tried to use them...they end up as mush. Wish they were bigger pieces maybe that would help. Flavor is great though.

{Response from Emergency Essentials - you bring up a good point Karenb. Freeze dried items are like moisture sponges, so if left to reconstitute too long in water, they will over-hydrate. The potatoes are a 5-minute reconstitution product, so extra care is recommended in reconstitution.}

Pleasently surprised

Received my shipment on Sat. and fried them up on Sunday afternoon. They were fantastic. I added a few onions and a little salt, everyone loved them. My brother liked them so much he talked me into letting him take home the rest of the can home. So I will be ordering them again soon. I recommend them to everyone.

Great taste

These little cubes start out about 1/4 inch and plump up to about 3/8 to 1/2 inch in size. Great potato taste, easy to fix.

convenient

The potatoes did not reconstitute as easily as I had expected. It took several attempts to get it right. With that said, the flavor is great. Overall, these are a great addition to my food storage. However, I do not utilize them as much as fresh potatoes.
