I had a can of tomato powder for years without ever trying it. My daughter told me one day how much she liked it, so I opened a can and started using it in my daily meals. We all love tomatoes, and this product is wonderful. As others have said, it is good to use any way you would use tomatoes. It rehydrates instantly, and has a great tomato flavor. Good to thicken soups, stews and sauces. I'm still learning new ways to use it, and converting over from canned tomatoes. It stores so well, and keeps a long time. I can't think of any food storage product that is so versatile. There should be a recipe book just for this product.

This is really great stuff. I add it to spaghetti sauce, tomato gravy, canned tomatoes--everything I use tomatoes for. It gives everything a much better taste than just plain tomatoes. YUMM!

Better than wet pack

The more I use this powder, the less I care about typical canned tomato products. It has a wonderful ripe sweet flavor and is so versatile. I appreciate the long shelf life as well. Mix with 2 parts water, some olive oil, herbs and sugar for the best instant pizza sauce ever.
