I am a vegetarian and use name brand soy and vegetable protein substitutes for real meat in my everyday cooking. After using this product beef tvp tonight in replacement of the frozen tvp I normally buy at the grocery store I was very impressed. My kids did not notice a difference. I think that we may actually even like this better! Thank You

Great sub for hamburger!

I've used this, so far, in lasagna and in stroganoff hamburger helper, and it was just as good as browned hamburger. My family could not tell the difference ...and no greassy frying! Directions call for too much water. I used 1 cup of TVP to 1 cup of water and it yielded 1 1/2 cups browned "hamburger". I plan to stop frying hamburger and use this instead from now on!

This product is very useful in many dishes and higher quality than you can get at the store. Enchiladas, stroganoff and chili. All have come out great, with a very pleased family. We have used TVP products for many years and this is the best I have found. I'll be buying more of this.
