Great like fresh bell peppers

This is the first freeze dried veggie product I've actually opened and used. At first I thought there would be very little in the can because it was so light BUT WOW! Freeze drying these little chunks really reduced them to near nothingness weight wise. Well worth the cost because you get so much. One thing that disappoints some is the chunks are very small. So small they will dissolve when used in cooking like chili or spaghetti. So I just add them in the last few minutes without rehydrating them. Same with scrambled eggs - will dissolve if cooked so I rehydrate them then add at last minute. Great value just wish they were larger.

I want to say WOW!!! We used these Bell Peppers in Chicken Fajitas. The Chicken Fajitas tasted the same as if we cut fresh Bell Peppers. Also, There was a post about eating the Bell Pepper right out of the can. I tried them and it was like sweet candy. Here is the only 2 problems: 1. The dice peppers are just a little small. 2. We like to never got in to the can. If you want them for storage the can has to be thick. But, I will order these again. It really save time. We did not have to cut them. Just added a 1/4 cup in the Fajitas.

I love this product because it tastes great, just like fresh peppers. Freeze dried will keep better than opening frozen and storing in freezer. I'll have these on hand to use everyday or in an emergency. Highly recommend this product!
