Really good straight out of the can. Couldn't stop eating it, as a snack, dry.
Like eating a chip. Very light texture, mild flavor, quickly moistens. Makes eating chicken accessible to those without teeth to chew with!

I also like the cut of this chicken and the mild seasoning. I tasted the rehydration water before pouring it off and determined I had a great, mild chicken soup with the flavor of ginger. I'm glad I bought 6 cans!

Asian Style = Slab Cut or Ribbon Cut

Nothing Asian about this wonderful chicken except the faint hint of Ginger and the substantial, satisfying Slab (ribbon) style of the cut.
I tried this chicken straight out of the can. It re-hydrated in 3 minutes with very little hot water.
Ingredients said "Soy sauce" (undetectable) and "salt" (much less salt than others I have tried). The only spice detectable, Ginger, would easily be masked by other spices if used in "American" dishes.
Substantial pieces, (not dust) in this can make it my favorite chicken-- starting right now.
