Never going back to dehydrated bananas

What a great real banana flavor. They don't have that aftertaste that the dehydrated slices have. Because there are no additives or preservatives, I don't worry about the grandchildren eating them either. What a treat to have in my food storage. The trick will be waiting for hard times to eat them because they have such a long shelf-life it will take too long to wait until they need to be rotated!

These are my very favorite snack ever! I love to just eat them dry throughout the day. They are great because you can take them everywhere and not have to worry about bruising the banana.
I have to be very careful about rationing them or else before I know it, the whole can is gone.

Most freeze dried banans are lite little crispy clouds with a starchy taste and good banana flavor. Not the case with these at all. They are crisp and pack a punch of true banana flavor the instant you put them in your mouth without the strchy after effects. They were super in my morning cereal and I have plans for banana bread out of these....I have no doubt it will turn out great too.
