Storage and handling tips: DO NOT OPEN UNTIL READY TO USE. Optimum storage is at normal room temperature conditions. After opening, reseal unused contents with plastic recloseable lid. For best results, contents should be used immediately after opening. However, when protected from moisture, product has been found acceptable up to 1 week after opening. I have had experience with MREs and have never been overly impressed with their flavor. These crackers may not be Ritz or Keebler, but they definately beat out any generic brand I've ever tasted. And compared to the baked pumice passed off as bread in an MRE kit, it's like a piece of heaven.
