Bland Taste, But Excellent Ingredients
Reviewed By:
Kelly (Small Town, MI)
These were just ok for us. They are the healthiest of the 3 emergency food bars, so I give them major kudos for that. But taste wise, I would say they are like a very bland coconut cookie. I liked that of the 3 brands of food bars that we got, these were the only ones to stay vacuum sealed (which is important, since once that vacuum seal has broken, the 5 year shelf life goes right out the door). They are also packaged individually, to help maintain freshness. For those reasons, even though these were our least favorite taste wise, I would still order these again, and not the others.

Great Survival Bar
Reviewed By:
Mike (Bay City, Michigan)
Excellent compressed food bar. Individually wrapped for ease of opening and dispersion if in a group. The individual wrapping is absolutely a lifesaver when compared to other products which are completely open after the first time. The taste is just like a coconut cookie, and even could fool people that the bars are so nutritious. Overall it's a great bar to buy and use in the field.

Natural, corn syrup and preservative free food bars
Reviewed By:
Sharon A (Port Orchard, WA)
Pros: Good flavor, not too sweet, no corn syrup or preservatives, tasted like toasted coconut shortbread. Individually wrapped portions.
Cons: A bit dry and crumbly, difficult to unwrap individual bars.
I will reorder for my emergency kit.
