KATADYN® Carbon (2 pack) for Combi™
Removes most microorganisms including Bacteria and Giardia. It's 0.2 ceramic depth filter removes 99.9999% Klebsiella terrigena, and 99.99% Giardia/Cryptosporidium. It will provide approximately 1 qt (1 L) of water per minute. One cartridge will filter up to 13,000 gallons (50,000 l) depending on water quality. Replaceable activated carbon will do up to 60 gallons (200 l) of water. So why would you need an extra filter if one will do up to 13,000 gallons? As with all water preserving/purifying systems, it is important to know that it will work correctly. Since these filters are ceramic, if dropped on a hard surface, they will break. In times of emergency, it is important to be able to replace the filter to insure you have uncontaminated drinking water.
