I was expecting some dehydrated ramen type meals, but these are really good, better than I eat normally. I have a basic year supply of grains and this makes an excellent supplemental to the dull grain buckets.

Surprising Amount of Good Food

Ordered this on special and received this week. My initial impression was surprise at the weight of the two boxes it came in. Upon opening, was pleasantly surprised again at the sheer number of items within. We opened some pound cake -- I had the Lemon Popyseed, Daughter had the Vanilla and Wife had the Spice. All were surprisingly good. This is the same quality I pay $2/piece for at Starbucks. For dinner, I made a couple entrees for my kids. 10 year-old Daughter loved the Tortellini with Marinara and my 2 year-old Son sucked down the pasta and vegetables (although I thought this one had a tiny bit of after-taste...). All-in-all, a fantastic deal. I'll be watching for another special on this, though the $319 it's currently going for would still be a good deal.

Just what I was looking for...wish I had this when Katrina knocked the power out here. At least I'm ready for the eventual freak Ice storm here. :-)
