Reviewed By: SL (Boonies, Arizona) Thought I'd try this out to see if it was worth using up any space in my food storage. I've made lasagna, spaghetti, marina sauce for bread sticks, tomato soup - - You name it I've tried it. The best part is that I used it without telling my husband and children and they truly didn't notice any difference from the fresh or canned tomato sauce or paste! It doesn't take much to do the trick, either. I know it will be a must-have for my food storage from now on - especially since it has a MUCH longer shelf life. - Tuesday, March 11, 2008Tomato powder! Only problem is, once the can is open this can get very hard before you can use it. I put it in small canning jars and vacuum seal them with my vacuum sealer. Just a note. I find that the large mouth jars seam much better then the small mouth jars. |
