This mill grinds MUCH finer flour than the Marga (we had to grind the Marga flour 3 times to get it the same consistency). Great!!! - Thursday, October 16, 2008I love my grainmill :) Reviewed By: Laura (Milwaukee area, Wisconsin) I absolutely love my Back to Basics grainmill. It's attached to my table all the time. Because it's so handy and easy to use, I make bread, muffins, pancakes, flour for gravy, etc. all the time. This is a wonderful mill for the price. I'm going to purchase a second one and put it in my food storage area as a backup because I've been so happy with my mill. - Saturday, August 22, 2009Great Reviewed By: Sandra (Mesa, AZ) We bought one for each one of our kids for Christmas. They are building their food storage and they did not have anything to grind their wheat with. If they can afford to get an electric one later GREAT... but, they have something to use if the power is ever out. It is a win win buy. It really grinds the wheat fine. Granted it takes some time, a couple of minutes to grind a cup of wheat, which is not bad. - Thursday, October 01, 2009Excellent flour mill Reviewed By: Cheryl Olson (Bowler, Wisconsin) I purchased one of these as an inexpensive "back up" in case something went wrong with my usual mill. I decided to try it out, and found it's much better than the $300 one I normally use! Plus, it takes up far less space on the kitchen counter. There is none to compare at this price. - Wednesday, May 07, 2008great grinder Reviewed By: Martha (Smithfield, Virginia) I love this little grinder. I keep it attached to my counter and grind my flax seed right into my cereal, yogurt, salad, etc. so the flax seed is always fresh. And if I ever lose power, it will come in handy for wheat. |
