They taste like shortbread lemon cookies, actually very good. All three of my kids totally liked them, they are 6, 4, 2. My kids LOVE them and they are now a staple in our 72-hour kits as well as on camping trips. I have also been giving them to my youngest son who is underweight. It's an easy way to pack some extra calories on without battling over food issues.
