Reviewed By: Sharon (Port Orchard, WA) Taste-tested the stroganoff in a pack... ribbon like noodles and tiny meatballs in a creamy mushroom/sour cream sauce. No hint of red wine. I thought it was quite good the first day, saved the second serving for the next day in the fridge--even better! There was a little crunchiness in the meat that disappeared overnight and it did not taste freeze dried at all. Yum!  -  Sunday, August 30, 2009 Yum! Reviewed By: Meredith (Way up in the mountains, Tennessee) This was the first freeze-dried meal we tried. We were amazed. It’s a very generous serving for 2. My husband and I shared it, with a salad and some fruit. Smells great; tastes delicious. Ingredients list not so long as to be scary! I would suggest waiting longer than 8-9 minutes to rehydrate. The meat will soften up more and it won’t hurt the rest of it. Fast and easy to prepare and no clean-up. Not just for camping, but probably want to use this more as a supplement rather than a daily emergency ration as it is massive in its salt content, but other than that, yum.
