Delicious But Maybe Not For All Tastes

I was a little worried, after reading the bad review, of ordering these. However, overall, I've always been pleased with everything I order from here...so I decided to give it a chance. I did not find them to be greasy. I thought they were delicious. Actually, they tasted a bit like sugar cookies to me. I did taste a banana flavor...but I think there is a possibility that there are some people who would be disappointed in this product. Myself, I like bananas when they are slightly green...and I really hate brown spots. The minute bananas get brown spots, I think they are disgusting. Many people are like me--and I think they would like this product because I believe it is made with bananas that have just ripened or maybe even still have a little green to them. Bananas at this stage are subtle in taste, which is what I prefer. People, though, from the islands often prefer bananas when they are covered in brown spots and are mushy. Bananas that have brown spots will have a very strong flavor--and if you are a person that likes bananas at this stage, I think you will be disappointed in this product.

Just awful

These so called banana chips are the worst thing we have ever tasted. There is no banana flavor at all and the chips have a slightly greasy taste. I would not even give them one star but your forced to in order to submit the review.
Total waste of money.

{Response from Emergency Essentials – Thanks for your review Cee. We are very surprised by your review. These Bananas have been a very popular item for us for 20 plus years and definitely have a distinct banana flavor that is really pleasing, no greasy taste. It sounds like your can is defective.
