Made my buddies jealous
I carry MREs for hiking & camping & the like, & this one is quite good even compared to the other ones I like. I was eating one after a dive at a marina putting zinks on some boats & the other divers were giving me a hard time for eating an MRE instead of bringing a sandwich, but that stopped when I opened the pouch & they got a whiff of this very tasty MRE. They were asking where they could get one! Also, I had this in the trunk of my car for at least 2 years prior to eating it too.

Pretty good stuff
This is the first MRE that I have tried. Just decided on a whim to try it out and it is really pretty good stuff. It has more than enough sauce and I would even cook a little extra penne to add to it to make it go a little further. I would definitely buy this again.

veggie burger in BBQ sauce
The veggie burger with BBQ sauce is really good. It looks and tastes like hamburger. I put the patty on the wheat bread for an open faced sandwich. The drink and muffin top were good. The osmotic raisins were just too weird. They're moist and puffy, not like raisins should be. I am saving the itty bitty Tabasco sauce bottle as a souvenir. I would recommend this meal to vegetarians and to meant eaters.
