Made our week long fishing / turkey hunting trip a breeze. After being out sunrise to sunset, it was great to eat an outstanding meal made in 11 min. My son who is a firefighter/paramedic who normally consumes a high calorie diet do to his duties, was greatly surprised by the choice of, taste of and ease of preparation. He only wished that there was more than 2.5 servings per pouch. I think for Christmas i'll buy him a supply of the 5 serving meals. I think that this item will continue to be a staple in my food storage plan.

Can't believe Everyone doesn't have this!
The Mountain House® Classic Assortment tub is one of the best Emergency/Disaster food insurance resources I've seen. Especially while it's on sale!
I've been eating Mountain House freeze dried meals since eating LRPs in combat in the military. even if you don't "Like" freeze dries meals, where else can you find 29 meals in an easy to store and carry tub for this price - with a 15+ shelf life no less. (In case you haven't kept up with the latest on MH metalized pouches, they're now saying they have a proven shelf life of 15 to 20 years or more.)
The meals are great and each tub proves a weeks worth of Emergency/Disaster meals for two people. The storage tub double for carrying water and can be made into a DIY initial water filter.
Each tub requires 21 cups (~1 1/3 Gal) of water. We store these with 2 ea. - 1 gallon water bottles in our home, cabin, off-road vehicle, etc.
These tubs are light, easily stored, rugged, and cheap food insurance.
I highly recommend the Mountain House® Classic Assortment to everyone. Buy 1 tub per 2 family members and have minimum food for a week.

Recommend you buy
I just went camping and grabbed a stew from my back up supply. I was amazed at the taste. Would recommend for your back up or camping as the taste was like homemade.
