We had this on a road trip, did not want to take the time for restaurant stop. Very good! Pack a package of chow mien noodles and soy sauce and it would be wonderful. Before adding water, 'massage' the bag a bit to break up some of the larger seasoning clumps. This one needs the full amount of water, and possibly a bit more. MH has rarely disappointed me. While this meal for 2 was shared, the whole thing could have been consumed by one hungry person.

Flavorful and Filling. Recommended.
This is a good camping or preparedness meal, but also would be great to keep in my desk at work to have an easy lunch. I plan to order more from Emergency Essentials, because their price is good.
It is low in fat. The mixture has soy sauce, so it is salty. To me it tastes good, but for some people it may be too salty. I also add a little extra water as I like it more "soupy."
Finally - make sure you use boiling water, and let it stand for at least the time stated on the package, plus a little longer for better texture. The meat is not exactly like the texture of fresh chicken; it's a little chewy, but it's fine. As another review said, it is similar to a frozen dinner. It tastes good, is simple to make, and has a long shelf life. Hope this helps.

A little strong, but nice.
This was my wifeﾒs first freeze dried meal and she was very surprised. Overall she was very satisfied and found it to be very filling. She thought the taste was a little strong but that is personal preference. Will certainly order more with my next order.

This was the first freeze dried meal that I've tried. I LOVED it! I probably could have shared it, but at only 450 calories, I decided to eat it all. It really filled me up and was very tasty. One tip: Stir up the package contents BEFORE you add the hot water to bust up the clumps of seasoning--its easier to mix the water in that way. Would definitely recommend.

This was the very first freeze dried meal that I ever tried and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. If I didn't know it was freeze dried I would have never guessed. The taste and textures were just wonderful and I really enjoyed it. It was just as good as any frozen prepared meal. I would definitely order this in the large size for future use. Yummy!
