A NICE SURPRISE

My husband and I were on a hiking / cabin trip and were wondering how this meal could separate the 2 items! We were nicely surprised. It all tasted good but I think I would add a tiny bit more water to the chicken because it seemed just a tad dry. Definitely would try again. Just make sure to have some veggies along for a complete meal.

Excellent

I am not impressed with many of the freeze dried entrees (from any company). That said this meal is excellent. Mountain House seems to do chicken really well, thier Chicken Ala King is good too. So rest assured this is a really good meal.

Favorite

Without a doubt, my Mountain House favorite. Actually a real meal. The chicken breast has a nice texture and the seasoned mashed potatoes are great. Just add some bbq sauce or instant chicken gravy. I'll add a veggie and this is my too lazy to go out and eat dinner on a nasty winter night. This is a 2 serving dinner you will not want to share

Mtn HouseChicken with mashed potatoes

This meal blew me away! It's the first Mtn House meal I've tried and I have to say that it's very tasty and filling. I have already ordered more of these and will continue to test Mtn House offerings for future orders.

MH FD Chicken and potatoes

This is very good. I chunked up the chicken in the pouch and added an MRE salsa. Delicious!
