Darned good stuff!!

My sons and I are involved in Geocaching as well as the Boy Scouts. This is one of the staples on our trips. Tastes great, sodium isn't bad, and is quite satisfying. I always bring a bit of Tabasco just to give it that little extra that we like.

Great for what it is

Not homemade quality, but great for an emergency/last minute food item. Just got a can and tested it last night. If you have some of your own spices to add (oregano, basil, garlic, etc) it can be very good. Planning on buying more cans for long term storage.

Good Stuff

We have liked all of the Mountain House products we've tried and this one is just as good. I disagree that it is like spaghetti from a can; it has a batter taste, a little more flavor and less blandness than canned. The spaghetti is in 1" pieces and there is plenty of meat in the sauce.

Outstanding!

This was the very first freeze-dried product I've ever eaten. It was in a two serving package given to me by a friend in the Army. Took it with us on my sons first deer hunt.

I have to say that it equals MRE spaghetti (which has never been dehydrated). I liked it so much that I bought a #10 can when we got back.

Not bad!

I found this spaghetti to be kind of like the kind you might have had in your grade school cafeteria, or possibly like a canned product. Not fabulous, but definitely not bad! I can imagine I'd be pretty happy to have this product in an emergency and I also found that a portion of the dish kept me filling full for much longer than I expected (but not in a bad way).

very good

First freeze dried product I have tired. I'm very picky about my food, but this was excellent. Not as good as homemade (what is?) but better than I've had in some restaurants. I would eat this even if it wasn't an emergency.

Lots of sauce

This was the first freeze dried food I tried and I was pleasantly surprised. Not great, but pretty good. There was TOO MUCH meat sauce so more pasta could be added to stretch this meal.

Best Spaghetti Ever!

I've eaten a lot of spaghetti in my life, but this is the best I've ever had. I actually look forward to eating this while backpacking.

Hmm Good!

Not like homemade, but OK for a reserve food supply and camping.
