Great

We really enjoy the scrambled eggs with ham and green peppers. In our case the ham rehydrates well and the overall flavor is great. Perhaps the manufacturing has changed that created some subtle difference. I hope not. We rated it a five star but things may have changed since we last ordered.

Kinda nasty

The eggs were o.k. but the ham tasted like it had been in the freezer a long, long, time before it was freeze dried. It had that funky freezer taste. Unfortunately, I bought two cans. I was able to give the last of the one can I opened to a friend. We are still friends.

Just OK

We ordered 3 cans of this for our boys to use on Scout campouts. The eggs and peppers are fine, but the ham never fully hydrates. We don't have a problem with out meats hydrating when done separately so I am assuming that in the combo with other things like this the eggs are hydrating quicker then the ham and taking up all the water. A bit disappointing, but very edible if you pick out the ham.

scrambled eggs & ham

The scrambled eggs & ham was great in the pouch. We went camping over night, I got one for each person. The next time, I will buy a can. There just was enough, and they are suppose to be two serving pouches. Even the kids wanted more. great while they lasted.

great tasting!

Tried this as part of sampler package, enclosed pouch. Was skeptical because of the "water" comment. Don't be!! Tastes great, I used a slotted spoon to dip out to share with family member. Will be ordering this in a #10 can, the only problem is the pouch serving size is larger than can serving size, so if you like the pouch size, must recalculate

Good!

Eggs/ham/green peppers is a winner!!! Now, frankly, eggs are only so good as a freeze dried item, but I find this mix more than adequate. Very flavorful. TIP: after 'cooking', use a fine mesh strainer to fully drain the excess water, layer over some shredded hashbrowns and your eating good!
