love it

For years I tried to replicate the SOS I had in the Coast Guard with all kinds of variations in the ground beef and sauce and seasonings. This may not be it, but the bottom line is it is FANTASTIC. A perfect combination of beef, sauce and spices. And like so many of these "storage" foods, nobody will recognize this stuff came out of a can and you added water.

You Can't Go Wrong With This!

Talk about a yummy rib-sticker! EXCELLENT flavor and consitency (I used a little less water than recommended). Watch your heat when warming up leftovers though --- too hot too quick and the sauce will really thin out on you. I found this not only good over biscuits, but excellent over mashed potatoes! I keep a full case in my food storage plus a couple of loose cans.

This is basically hamburger in a white creamy gravy. I think I had this for breakfast for 30 days straight with different sides from pancakes to the scrambled egg mix.. SO GOOD! Tip to make it even better is buy a jar of breakfast sausage flavoring.. a couple dashes of that REALLY makes this delicious!
