Chili Mac with Beef
The chili Mac is very good. Both my husband and I think this is one of Mountain House's best. That being said, the elbow pasta is a bit skimpy so I stir in more cooked elbow pasta to the finished dish for a more full bodied meal. There is plenty of yummy sauce and meat.

I mixed this one exactly to direction and I thought this product was good, full flavor of all of the spices with a very mild kick. For food storage of camping on a cold night the spice of this one will be well appreciated.

I was honestly shocked at how good this chili mac is! Excellent chili flavor - spicy without being a palate-burner. The macaroni elbows came out al dente and the beans were a fantastic addition. I did use 1/4 c. less water than called for to cut down on the soupy quality.

Great item to have in the "Stash". Practically a complete meal w/ protein & carbs and great taste. Prepares quickly. The noodles do not take as long to reconstitute as regular macaroni takes to cook. Great diversion from hum drum meals.
