I'm currently trying out most of the Mountain House entrees to see what I want to store, and the Chili Mac with Beef is one of my favorites so far. It's not too spicy, there is LOTS of meat and the serving sizes are generous. This is definitely a keeper!

This is an excellent tasting meal and the kids just love it. If in an emergency and all else fails.....this would be gourmet food! Stocking up on more!

After being disappointed with the Stroganoff my faith in MH was restored by the Chili Mac. Everything was cooked to perfection and re-hydrated perfectly. As with all MH I give then 10 minutes standing time, it's worth the wait.

Great for backpacking
This pack was a staple in my backpacking kit. It has a great taste and texture (as with most MH products, give it about two more min of re-hydration time than the instructions ask). I first tried this with a few friends of mine side by side with the chili mac MRE and this won hands down. I love my chili spicy, so I add lots of Tabasco, but this is good without it. The only reason I don't carry this anymore in my backpack kit is that I prefer the pro-pack with it's smaller profile packaging.

I was skeptical (not too much) but we made this tonight and even my boys 10 and 7 ate it all up...Needed a little salt, but other than that, taste and texture weren't any different than if it was made from scratch...Expanding my order to try lots of things!
