I don't usually write reviews but for this product I will. I was looking into the Mountain House pouches because if my family needs food during an emergency and there isn't access to any cooking methods, I wanted to be covered in that situation. I liked the pouches better than canned food because it has a longer shelf life and because its portable. I bought one of the chicken salad pouches just to try it, hoping it would suffice for an emergency situation. Oh my gosh this was so good that I would take it to work and eat it for lunch happily. I was very impressed and this is by far my favorite one so far.

First let me say that I am not a chicken salad fan. I have no idea why I even ordered it. However, I ordered one package just to try it. I took it to work so everyone could have a taste. Everyone was very surprised at how good it is. It made enough for at least 4 good sized wraps. It came out moist with good flavor. We added a little salt and pepper. Several people though that it would be good with sliced grapes and pecans added. I bought 10 more packages for everyday use and plan to keep more on hand for an emergency.
