Swing-A-Way can opener
I have used one of these for many years. These are easy to use and mine has lasted more than 20 years already. I'm going to pick up two more for packing with my emergency tools. They cost the same 20 years ago.

I've had this opener for at least 9 years. I love it so much that my electric opener stays in the cupboard - I always go to this one! A few weeks ago, after daily use (this IS a heavy-duty opener meant for #10 cans, but I use it to make quick work of my regular sized cans too) the black handles came loose. I simply squeezed a couple drops of KrazyGlue into the handle and shoved them back on - BOOM! Just like new. I've never had it skip a spot or ever needed to sharpen the cutting wheel. I now buy these guys as House Warming gifts.

best can opener
This is way better than any electric opener. I have been using it for 30 years. There is one thing... you cannot wash in the dishwasher or it will start to skip spots in the can. Always wash by hand!

Thrilled to find this again!
I bought my first Swing-A-Way can opener over a decade ago. It still opens cans easily. I haven't seen another since then, so I am delighted to be able to buy another!

I didn't think I would be able to find a can opener that was still made in the USA. This one is by far superior to the Chinese made junk; trust me, I looked!! Cushioned grips, sturdier, larger toothed gears and a cutting blade that goes through lids like butter.

Best way to open number 10 cans
After using this, I will never try use anything else ever again to open a number 10 can. This can opener is heavy duty and easy to use. I've ordered several in case the one I'm using wears out.
