Grilled Chicken with Blackberry Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 Cups
Emergency Essentials Freeze Dried White Chicken Chunks with Smoke Flavor, reconstituted
1 1/4 Cups
Emergency Essentials Freeze Dried Organic Blackberries, reconstituted
Emergency Essentials Iodized Salt, to taste
Emergency Essentials Black Pepper, to taste
2 TBS
Rice Vinegar
1 tsp
Ground Ginger
1 tsp
Soy Sauce
1 TBS
Cooking Oil
1 tsp
Fresh Mint, minced


Directions:

  1. Reconstitute first two ingredients; drain, leaving 1 TBS of water in the blackberries.
  2. Using a fork or potato masher, mash berries slightly to release juice. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet, add oil and chicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook over medium heat for 7-9 minutes or until chicken is brown.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except for the chicken; stir to combine. Cook over medium heat for approximately two minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken and serve immediately.
