Fresh Farmer’s Salad Recipe

Provident Pantry Freeze Dried Broccoli
1/2 C (heaping)
Provident Pantry Freeze Dried Green Peas
1 C
Provident Pantry Freeze Dried Green Beans
3/4 C
Provident Pantry Freeze Dried Zucchini Slices
3/4 C
Provident Pantry Freeze Dried Tomatoes
Romaine Lettuce
Basic Oil and Vinegar Dressing (see below)


  1. Reconstitute first five ingredients and drain.
  2. Meanwhile wash lettuce and tear into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Toss all ingredients together in large bowl and set aside while you make the dressing.

Basic Oil & Vinegar Dressing

1/3 C
Salad Oil
3/8 C
White Vinegar
1/2 tsp
Provident Pantry Sugar
1 Generous Pinch
MyChoice Lemon Pepper
1/4 tsp
MyChoice Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp
MyChoice Iodized Salt
1/8 tsp
MyChoice Black Pepper (28 Mesh)
1/8 tsp
MyChoice Basil


  1. Combine all ingredients into a medium sized bowl. Whisk well so all flavors combine. Immediately pour on top of salad (to taste).

Variation: Turn this salad into a Cobb Salad by adding some Yoder’s Bacon
