Tastes fine!

First off, I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed in this, Clint. You have to remember what it was created for: semi-long term storable, edible nutrition for our Fighting Men and Women when a Mess Hall is not available. If people think that this is awful, just imagine what it would have tasted like 20 years or more ago! MREs and their entrees have improved ten fold, to say the least, in the past decade or so. One has to remember that these are basic nutrition for a "survival" situation, whatever that may be. There is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with these items. Most people are expecting mainstream, mass produced food item flavor/texture, which we have become accustomed to. Don't set the bar so high and trust me, you would definitely eat this if push comes to shove. Anyway, they taste just fine, can be stored for about 5 years, and are a great value during an emergency. Thank You Emergency Essentials!!!!

Tasty

Tastes similar to the wheat snack bread. Both are capable of eating dry and right out of the package or with some peanut butter and jelly. I recommend it.

Could be very a very useful survival item...

...if you need to patch a hole in your body armor, repair a combat boot, or in case a hockey game suddenly breaks out and you need a puck. Definitely NOT a winner and will not be buying more. Dry, dense, leathery, bad.
