good

These are very good. The pastry is a bit dry but its okay. The flavor is great. These remind me of the danish treats you can find at gas stations.

Good Hot or Cold

This maple-y "French toast" stuffed with a syrupy cinnamon filling looks a bit more like a plumped-up toaster pastry - but tastes so much better! While it would be fine served cold for those quick on-the-run breakfasts, I popped mine in the toaster and thoroughly enjoyed the warmed up version.

At 240 calories, it fits nicely into the caloric needs of someone who wants a light breakfast. What surprised me, though, is that it has a full 6 grams of protein - the amount a large boiled egg has.

I can see myself eating "Stuffed French Toast" morning after morning and not getting tired of it - so naturally, I am ordering more for my BOB and emergency provisions.

Pretty good, actually

These were pretty good. I'm trying numerous items in an effort to choose tasty items for my earthquake prep.
Thes are called stuffed French Toast but are really more like a danish or a pastry - very similar to the Cinnamon Bun but better. The pastry/bread portion is soft and sweet. The filling (maple-cinnamon) part isn't like syrup you're familiar with,of course, but is more like a puree/jam consistency. It was very tasty and not overly sweet. It was good and there will definitely be a couple of these in my EQ food stash.

Yummy, Yummy!

I loved this and so did my children. They loved it so much they have asked if I can order some for breakfast on the go. We had these while camping and they will definitely go on the "to buy" list again!

Delicious and filling

This is less like something I would call french toast and more like a somewhat flaky pastry filled with a delicious maple-flavored jelly. Filling and very satisfying. A great choice for a few year storage option and a sure morale booster.

Go with what you know

Go with what you know....I am always leery about ordering anything on-line. I like to see it, touch it; try it ... so when ordering something for the first time I went with a product I am familiar with. I was extremely happy with my purchase! The MRE's were fresh! They were produced the very end of 2009 and the first few months of 2010. This would make the first inspection date the end of 2012 or beginning of 2013 and properly stored will last up to ten years. Very fresh products and tasted great!!! Also, best price I have found on similar products on other sites. Thanks Emergency Essentials, I will be placing another order soon!

Frech Toast! MMMMM!

We purchased several MRe items to eat before placing a bigger order. We wanted items we'd enjoy having in our 72 hour kits. The french toast (syrup inside the toast!), maple sausage, chili mac and clam chowder were superb! It's amazing they can pack in all that flavor in a shelf stable food!

Exceptional Quality

We bought several of these to try before purchasing for our 72 hour emergency backpacks. Wish we had bought more - we all LOVED them. Was like a big, soft pastry stuffed with a thick maple-syrup filling. YUM!
